An
Online Review of the Arts edited
by Louis Torres & Michelle
Marder Kamhi
Aristos is a monthly online review of the arts
and the philosophy of art. Like its print predecessor,
it is a unique critical voice, advocating objective
standards in arts scholarship and criticism, and
arguing that the concept of art (in the sense
of the traditional fine arts of painting, sculpture,
literature, music, and dance) can, and ought to
be, objectively defined.
Contemporary
Aesthetics is an international,
interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed,
online
journal of contemporary theory, research, and
application in aesthetics.
The
Journal of Aesthetics and Art
Criticism Established in 1942
by the American Society for Aesthetics,
The Journal of Aesthetics and
Art Criticism publishes current
research articles, symposia,
special issues, and timely reviews
of books in aesthetics and the
arts.... The Journal takes a
theoretical and interdisciplinary
approach to the arts and aesthetic
matters. Its authors include
artists, writers, and academics
in the fields of philosophy,
English literature, comparative
literature, art, music, theater
and drama, art history, psychology,
