INTERNSHIPS

Muhlenberg- Theater and Dance
Full Summer Internships for teens
sixteen and older with the recommendation of a teacher or director from their school. Muhlenberg Summer Music Theatre Internships are also available in the scenic, lighting, and costume
shops and in administration
and stage management.

Housing and an honorarium are also provided.

WORKSHOPS

Muhlenberg- Theater and Dance

Summer Performance Workshops
for Teens are offered in both theatre and dance. The dance camps are held in June as three-day intensives in both concert and musical theatre dance. The musical performance workshop is
conducted mornings over
three weeks in July.

 

Wildwood Institute, Young artists programs, singers, childrens opera.
Apprentices
The Wildwood Young Artist Program employs promising young singers as apprentices each year. These singers perform a children's opera for the Young Artist Tour, Wildwood's statewide educational touring program that takes place January through May. They also perform major and supporting supporting roles in Wildwood Festival productions in June.

Camps
The Wildwood Institute
offers a number of summer day camps for elementary through high school students in various arts disciplines. The Wildwood Opera Camp, scheduled for July 26 - August 6, 2004, offers students 8-18 the opportunity to produce and perform in the opera Noye's Fludde by Benjamin Britten. Wildwood also hosts 2004 camps in theatre, flute, photography, jazz, film and art.

for boys and girls ages 6 through 16

non-competitive fine and performing
arts activities in a fun, friendly traditional camp setting. Sessions run 2 to 9 weeks.
Theatre, vocal & instrumental music, ballet, modern, jazz and tap dance, video, radio, two- & three-dimensional visual arts, photography and technical theater.
