the artists and
views their works in their studios and homes. |

des Arts Memphrémagog
- Founded in 1993 this ten
day cultural event allows
visitors to become acquainted
with perhaps as many as 100
artists in their studios and
galleries located throughout
21 picturesque municipalities
surrounding the Lake Memphrémagog
in the Eastern Townships
in Quebec. Many disciplines
are represented: painting,
watercolours, silk painting,
etching, fabric murals, glass
mosaics, pottery, jewelry,
sculpture, woodcraft, stained
glass, leatherwork, photography,
cardboard articles, glass
blowing, floral art, blacksmithery,
and garden furniture. Usually
late July.
Tour
des Arts - An annual ten day event

an opportunity to view the
world of the artists, their
studios, homes and gardens.
Usually early July.

Square Gallery,
- Monthly exhibitions at this
old and most celebrated Boston
area. cooperative
gallery. On the third Thursday
of the month the gallery presents
a noontime talk by the featured
artist(s) and once a month
there is live music.
- Brookline's
Open Studios,

every year during the third
weekend in May

| The
Great Northern Arts Festival is
an annual celebration of Northern
Canadian arts and culture. Each
summer up to 100 visual and
performing artists come from
across the Northwest Territories,
Nunavut, Yukon Territories,
and beyond. The cultural representation
each year is vast and includes
Inuit, Inuvialuit, Gwich’in,
Dene, Metis, and many other
of Canada’s Northern First
Nations as well as guests of
the Festival. |
